In with the boring days -out with the happy times

Now that Christmas break is practically over, I am bracing myself for the many painful months of lectures,science worksheet packets, learning how to conjugate verbs in Spanish all over again and singing with my tone-deaf voice.Christmas was great,coming back with profitable presents,ever new years eve was great-but new years day was a completely different story! Getting back into the school routine is going to be very,very hard. Getting up at 7 instead of sleeping in till 11, skipping breakfast instead of having a glamorous,well-prepared meal, and waiting around in the icy wind for late classmates, then running to school in a hurry.

The first semester was full of great memories like getting sent to the Principal's office because of cheating,making the A volleyball team and partying till the A.M. Letting go of semester #1 has been hard because in semester #2 I have to step it up a notch. But, I am definetly NOT looking forward to report cards. However, Spring Break is only about 3 months away! Wish me luck!
